So, I've been working on my deck...
...and it got me to thinking: what is this preoccupation with a man's deck?
I mean, does deck size really matter? Isn't it more important
what a man does with his deck?
I've had so many unanswered questions throughout the years...is
there anything to all these product claims about enlarging
my deck? If I trim the bush next to my deck, will it make
my deck look bigger? Do I really have to keep my deck clean
if I want company on it? Should I worry about the stones
underneath my deck?
I'm sure you're had many of the same questions about your
deck. For many years I was known as "deckless,"
but finally had the chance to enjoy my own deck; at first
by myself, then with others. A couple times over the years
I've had offers by other guys to visit my deck, but that
just seemed weird to me....not that there's anything wrong
with that...but just not my style.
I'm really not obsessed with my deck; I just wanted to share
these thoughts with you. The last thing I want you to think
is that I'm just another deck-head.
...and speaking of the Irish...
Were we? No? Well, we are now. TONIGHT come and
check us out at Flannagan's
in Dublin. We haven't been there in what seems like MONTHS,
so get there early and BUY US BEER!

Tomorrow, bring the kids to the All-Ohio
Balloon Festival at the Union
County Airport in Marysville. Enjoy the food, cold beer
and unfettered access to the airport without those troublesome
body-cavity searches.
Next Thursday
Every once in a while our conscience gets to us and we
have to do something nice for someone that doesn't involve
the courts. We're playing a great event at The
LC called Club
Jam 2010 for the Boys
& Girls Clubs of Columbus. So if you're wondering
what to do with that extra cash floating around, come down,
have a great time with us and feel good that you're making
a difference in a child's life.
